About Our School

We are a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5 school with 260+ students. We offer a variety of educational programs in a faith focused environment: Regular Classroom Instruction is focused on the Alberta Program of Studies.
Resource Room - provides remediation for language arts and math. (Support provided in class, individual or group sessions.)
Early Literacy Intervention - One on one itnervention for students struggling with the reading process in Grade 1 & Grade 2.
ESL - Support is provided for students with English as a Second Language.
Challenge Program - This is a pull-out program that offers educational enrichment to students who are identified as 'gifted' in specific areas. Students identified are also challenged in the classroom.
Skills - a pro-social and study skills program for all students.
Counseling - available for all students.

national Education Week 2011 is an annual event celebrated in more than 85 countries around the globe. This year it is being celebrated from November 14 to November 18. Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools will be celebrating and showcasing a variety of innovative education programs and activities throughout the week. Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools Education Foundation will financially assist 13 projects and make a donation to the Foundation’s endowment fund.
Ten school projects and three Division projects will receive funding from the Education Foundation in the current school year. A total of $25,500 will be distributed. For more information, see News Release.
